Regional Student Leadership ConferencesThe Regional Student Leadership Conference is 3 days packed with practical Leadership Training and powerful, heart-changing preaching. The camp setting often provides a better atmosphere for teens to make life-changing decisions because it moves the students away from the routine of every-day life. This format provides needed time for assimilation and application of the leadership concepts being taught. One of the very effective elements of the week is the school strategy times. These times provide the opportunity for students and their sponsors to talk over the principles learned in the teaching sessions and make direct application of these principles to their own schools and youth groups. Strategy times bring students together and help to create a collective endeavor towards mutual discipleship. These conferences have also proven to foster good relationships between youth groups and Christian schools that normally meet only as opponents on the field or court. This format also offers advanced seminars for returning students to help them take their leadership ability to the next level. Every year, Student Leadership Conferences are held regionally around the country. |
